Friends of the College of the Desert Library Book Group

The Book Group meets September through June from 1:30 - 3:00 at

the Friends of the COD Library Book Room  

Categories are selected for each month, everyone reads a different book in that genre, then discusses.

September 3, 2026 -- Biography or Autobiography

October 9, 2026 -- no meeting this month

November 5, 2026 -- A Classic

December 3, 2026 -- A Holiday Book 

January 7, 2027 -- Action/Adventure

February 11, 2027 -- Love story, fiction or non-fiction

March 4, 2027 -- Book about Africa or by an African author

April 13, 2027 -- A book by Lisa See  

May 6, 2027 -- A Mystery

June 3, 2027 -- A Beach read

The group chooses a genre for each month rather than a specific book for all to read.  Each member reports on the book he or she has chosen.

The Book Group has been a very welcoming group so new people should feel free to come. We ask that you become a member of the Friends of the COD Library to participate.  Join us
